Long Description :
Chief Engineer
Basic Function :
Monitor, control, analyze, plan and supervise Hydrology mine surface activities such as Grasberg dewatering project to maintain ground water level at Mine Surface area and to provide guidance for future use to ensure surface mining activities is safe.
The key challenges in this position include:
° Require extra attention and special technical skill considering high risk area and various level of ground water.
° In order to achieve high demand of Mine Surface areas and to meet the requirement of operational needs, the incumbent should have a broad knowledge of Hydrology and Hydrogeology and able to cover wide working areas.
Requirements
Bachelor Degree from Geology, Mining Engineering and Civil Engineering with working experience min 4 years in Geotechnical field or Hydro-Geology field OR
Master Degree from Geology (focused on Hydrogeology subject) , Mine Engineering
