As part of its global growth and consolidation strategy, the company is aiming to fill a newly created role for a“Software Development Coordinator”
If you are an engineer, an analyst, a coordinator or other professional who’s day-2-day involved in software development coordination or process analysis and is used to handle working in a professional and fast-moving telecommunications environment: this is the best opportunity to develop your international career.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify, develop and implement software development principles, concepts and solutions within Indonesia and globally (The company has Development Centers in Spain and China);
- Continuosly keeping track of current projects status and reporting about them to Team Leader;
- Interact with other technical teams like architects, business analysts and change owners with the purpose of identifying bottle-necks and issues in the process and make sure that the project is ready to be delivered to QA team;
- Be responsible for the development project status inside of the development team;
- Understand the needs of development team and interactions with other teams and transmit them between parties involved in a project.
The role reports into the “Development Team Leader” who in turn reports directly to the Local Head of Software Development;
The function has close contact points to various parts of the organization in particular the Global development team, business analysts teams and other global departments;
Skills and Specifications
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in analysis and coordination of development processes.
Required skills:
- Good knowledge of and adherence to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) standards and best practices
- Knowledge of Agile (Scrum) and/or other waterfall metodologies
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design fundamentals and MVC
- Understanding of NHibernate. It will be valuable knowledge about other ORMs
- Ability to work on multiple projects in a global team of coordinators
- Ability to speak to developers and project stakeholders, translating business requirements into development language
- Working knowledge to popular development and database technologies
- Excellent time management skills
- Positive can-do attitude
- Good in English; any additional main-stream language skills are advantageous
- Methodical, high standard of attention to detail
- Willingness to relocate to the Bandung area
Would be nice to have:
- Previous development experience in C# or Java
- Previous analytical experience in development
- Experience in working with Redmine, Jira, TFS tools
- Be familiar with AngularJS or other JavaScript framework.
