TECHNICAL SUPPORT HOTEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
  • Assist in configuring and installing and supporting product suites and associated interfaces when required
  • Work with customers to ensure that the contractual service expectations are exceeded
  • Responsible for the entry, tracking and management of all incoming support calls.
  • Work with the developers to ensure support service level requirements are exceeded.
  • Provide pre-sales support to local and regional partners
  • Provide end user training
  • Liase with subject matter experts in the regional office on client requests for product enchacements
  • Be familiar with and adhere to the latest training and installation standards and procedures
  • Ensure familiarity with new releases as they become available
  • Duties may include travel and weekend work
  • Will be placed in Jakarta, Indonesia

Other duties may be assigned as required.

Education and/ or Experience :
  • Familiarity with Windows 2003/2008 Operating System, Windows XP, Windows 7 and Microsoft SQL Server is highly desirable
  • Experience in Crystal Report is highly regarded
  • Experience in Microsoft suite of products in particular, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint is highly regarded
  • Basic working knowledge of networks, PCs, and troubleshooting installation issues is highly regarded
  • Excellent written and spoken English is highly regarded
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or related disciplines.

Key Performance Measures :
  • Successful delivery of assigned tasks and projects which may include SQL database query and Crystal Report customization
  • Excellent customer service experiences by internal and external customers.
  • Effective training and support of user with product suites and associated interfaces when required
  • Effective coodination of project task needs and operational requirements with teammates and the organization
  • Positive contributions to the organization beyond the scope of normal responsibilities which may include travel and weekend work
