Senior Marketing Solution Manager

Responsibilities
Sales Activities – Creating and Supporting Complex Opportunities:

Identify Opportunities
  • Understand Customer’s Business Directions
  • Assess Customers ICT systems capability
  • Recommend ICT programs/projects, Grow the Pipelines

Identify and Validate Opportunity and Huawei potential Solution against customer business needs
  • Be seen as the Customer’s trusted advisor, providing expertise and guidance in order to influence Business Initiatives and gain Customer Insight
  • Solution Planning and Business Case Support on behalf of the customer
  • Solution Requirements and identification of Solution Partners
  • Sales Presentations to C-level, business domain owners and IT departments with emphasis on strategy & solutions to meet business challenges – Solutions include; Industry Solutions, e-Government Solutions,  Telecom Service Platform Solutions.
Verify Business Value & Huawei Competitive Advantage
  • Create Partnerships & define Joint Solutions
  • Create Huawei/Partner Value Proposition

 Develop Solution to support customers needs
  • Be capable of translating Business Requirements into functional specifications
  • Work with products teams to define initial Solution Architecture to support sales proposals.
  • Align business outcomes and requirements to the proposed Solution
  • Support in the preparation of RFI/RFP Responses, Service Statements of Work, Software Licensing Proposals.
  • May be asked to provide consultancy type services for National ICT projects include eGovernment 
General Sales Activities
  • Acting as a key presenter in critical decision making stages of the sales cycle, building a trusted advisor reputation within new and existing customer accounts.
  • Building regional pipeline, with new and existing customers by assessing needs demonstrating capabilities and identifying business benefits to enable customer to generate compelling business cases for programs of work.
  • Training  and mentoring Huawei staff where needed
  • Formulate ICT solutions, products and services Training Plan for the South Pacific Region and conduct training to raise the level of ICT solutions, products and services skillset in the organization.
  • Act as the ICT solutions, products and services Expert in the South Pacific Region to provide ICT solutions, products and services consultancy to the other regions including Huawei HQ.

Marketing
Support the gathering of in country & customer market data

Requirements :
  • Must have between 15 years working experience in the IT Industry.   Preferably in either Solutions, Systems Integration or Consulting in a Sales, Consulting or Marketing type of role
  • Must have a good understanding of IT in general e.g. Cloud, Big Data, ESB, SOA, NFV, SDN and smart city solutions
  • Preferably have a more detailed understanding of a specific IT Domain.  This could be a Solution Domain like Cloud or a Domain like Systems Integration, IT Outsourcing or BPO
  • Must have Industry Experience in either an Enterprise Industry/s, Government or Telecommunications
  •  Must be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of their Industry Expertise e.g. For Telecommunications  TMF, ITU
  • Goal oriented thinker with the ability to transfer that knowledge and thought  leadership
  • Ability to lead Sales Strategies
  • Ability to lead and formulate large deals with multiple partners
  • Asia or Global experience is desirable
  • Must be a self starter and work on his/her own
  • Smart City experience
  • SDN/NFV knowledge and expeience

Preferred Job Qualifications

Applicants who possess one or more of the following skill sets or qualifications in addition to the above minimum requirement are preferred.
  • Able to speak & Present in English clearly
  • Relationships established with  Governments, Service Providers, Partners, Executive staff, Enterprise, SMB, Vertical Industry Experience on Top of Telecommunications & Government  Experience
