Prime Consultancy is appointed to identify the production manager for one of our partners. The company is specialized in processed food production in Indonesia and owns a factory on the island Bali. They are producing and marketing a wide range of European style meat and fish products with a German chef in Bali.
The distribution network is particularly focusing on the hospitality and food service markets and serves all leading hotels, restaurants, cafes, catering suppliers and related industries and all supermarkets throughout Indonesia.
Job description
- Responsible for all organizational operational sequences in the manufacturing plants
- Planning of efficient employment of the employees
- Control, suggestion and continuous technical qualification of the employees working in the production
- Periodic short report to the management about the situation in the field of production
- Examination of the quality of stock arrival, raw materials and ingredients
- Development of new, corresponding to real market conditions and economical meat, sausages and fish products
- Calculation of the final quantity resulted from raw materials (material cost per kg of end product)
- Examination of the existent recipes on their composition and thus their materials cost structure
- Contract of the product quality (preparation) in close cooperation with the Manager of Product Development
- Constant control of the end products until including the packing so that a continuous good standard is ensured
- Continuous control of all purchasing price of the necessary materials for production, in close cooperation with the Purchasing Department, in order to ensure economical purchase
- Stock control of raw and finished products order to avoid supply shortfall for the sales
- Daily arrangement with the Purchasing Manager regarding the necessary dispositions
- Clarification for arising customer complaints, directly with or at the customer
- Participation in designing prices of special offers
- Overall hygiene control in the existing working areas in the manufacturing plants (ISO, HASAP, Foodsafeplus)
- Participation in preparing, organizing and supervising exhibitions
Requirements
- Having a Bachelor Degree and relevant working experience
- Experience in the frozen food products industry
- At least 5 years of working experience
- Proven management skills
- Experience in working within an international business environment
- Prepared to work in Bali, Indonesia
